Explore art therapy with me no matter who you are or how old you may be! Connect with the inner self and play! Art therapy is incredibly helpful at connecting to inaccessible areas of our brain and processing trauma. I recommend sessions for an hour to an hour and a half to have time to complete the art and process what has been created.
A diagnosis can remove your sense of self and over-power your life. You may feel like you are nothing but the diagnosis. Together, we can work to re-establish what it means to be who you are. Epilepsy, cancer, or other severe diagnosis may sound terrifying. In our work, we can find safety and comfort where it may not seem possible.
One on one therapy is where we can collaboratively work to put you back in control of the preferred narrative you desire. We can explore your story to understand what is holding you back and where you would like to be. Generally, I see people for 50 minute sessions once a week.
Children and Teens
Are you or your child having a hard time in school? Is it hard to communicate? Does it seem like there is constant arguing? It doesn't have to be this way. Sometimes, kids (as well as many adults) have a hard time figuring out ways to process and communicate what is happening in their world. In our work, we figure out the best strategies to make the world not so difficult. I recommend a 50 min session once a week.
Therapy can be beneficial for couples at any time in their relationship. It is never too early or too late to begin therapy. Together, we can work on difficulties and build a strong foundation for the future. I recommend sessions be an hour and a half.
With all my therapy services, I try to incorporate mindfulness and body work. Mindfulness is just an ability of being aware of the present moment. Utilizing Mindfulness often breaks us from our less desirable patterns and helps us move in a preferred path.
